required at Gowlands, Rochford, our short break service for adults with learning and multiple disabilities
We are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager for our adult short-break service, Gowlands in Rochford Essex. Gowlands provides short breaks and respite care for young people and adults with learning and multiple/complex disabilities in an 8 bedded house.
As Registered Manager of this service you would be responsible for a staff team of 33 supporting up to 85 service users, managing the implementation of individual care and support plans and ensuring the booking system is managed effectively. You will ideally have a qualification in Social Work, Nursing or in an allied profession or an NVQ/Diploma IV in Health and Social Care or Management or equivalent. You will have an understanding of the issues relating to the provision of short breaks and residential care for young people/adults with learning and multiple disabilities and their families. Knowledge of the CQC and regulatory requirements is essential for the efficient and compliant running of the service.
