Support Workers – full time, part time and relief
Our Carer’s Support project, U matter 2 – our newest and expanding service- works directly with and for ‘carers’ - enabling them to have some quality ‘me time’ in activities away from or alongside the person that they care for and offering practical help within their own homes. We also support the ‘cared for’ person either at our activities or in their own home.
Our Outreach/Community Support service works alongside U matter 2 to provide direct support to the ‘cared for’ person – enabling the carer to access U matter 2 clubs and events
Hamelin House Billericay - short break service for children with disabilities
The vacancies available within these services offer flexibility of working in a diverse and rewarding role, particularly for those looking for evening and weekend work.

Senior Support Worker
Full time at The Bungalow Wickford – residential living for 4 adults with disabilities
Part time at Hamelin House Billericay - short break service for children with disabilities. Up to 22.5 hours per week to work flexibly at Hamelin House covering shifts on occasional weekdays but predominantly at weekends (minimum of alternate weekends)
Part time Cook/Cleaner
at Gowlands, Rochford – short break service for adults with disabilities
Flexible hours – to be negotiated
To prepare and/or cook simple home cooking for our residents and staff and to help with keeping the kitchen a clean and hygienic
Relief Van Driver
Must be 21 or over due to insurance specification
Relief Shop Supervisor
To work as and when required across our Charity shop division (Billericay, Laindon and Shenfield) – to include Saturday working
Our Charity shops provide a vital source of income for the Trust and offer learning opportunities within the retail sector for people with disabilities
