A message for all our service users and their families

We’re making changes to how we can support our service users and their families during the Coronavirus outbreak.

We want to keep everyone safe – our service users, their families and our staff and because of this, we are doing things differently.

Our Bungalow in Wickford continues to provide 24 hour support to our residents who live there and staff are doing an amazing job of keeping our residents and their own spirits up during the current challenges.

We know that so many of our families are reliant on our support and we have designed a new interim service that enables us to keep in touch with all of our existing service users and their families and help them in different ways – ways that they tell us we can help.  We can obviously only support people within the rules of social distancing set out by the government, so what we do will look different for a while.

A small team of staff are maintaining regular contact with all of our service users and this helps us to discuss with families what we can do to help within the confines of the guidance.  We really want to keep in touch with everyone and offer all of the support that we can during these difficult times.

Everyone who attends one of our services will receive a telephone call to identify what help we can give or just for a friendly keeping in touch chat.

We really hope that we can get back to delivering our normal range of services as soon as we are able to, but in the interim please keep safe and keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates.
