I wanted to reach out to you all at the end of what feels like an extraordinary week in the fight against Covid-19. Our colleagues have had to implement some big changes in our ways of working over recent days, but through the turmoil it has been great to see people working together, being flexible and doing what is best for those that we provide care for. The whole of Hamelin has been impacted by the crisis and I want to say a huge thank you to our team for their commitment and resilience right now. From colleagues in Head Office, coming to terms with new ways of working and remaining connected, to those delivering front line care across our services to ensure we can remain open for our service users, and everyone else, the Board and I greatly appreciate the way in which everyone is stepping up in these unprecedented times. We are doing all that we can to keep services open so that we can continue to help our community of vulnerable people and their families through this challenging time. I am confident that we will come through this difficult period because of the ability and spirit of Hamelin colleagues. Please make sure that you take care of yourselves and those close to you in the coming days and weeks.
