We had a fabulous time at the Southend Carnival on Saturday 18th August. A big thank you to all at Roots and Shoots who designed and made the float which was a beautiful garden with a scarecrow and teddy looking on and looked wonderful! There were plenty of lights around the float so as darkness fell there were lots of colourful twinkling lights. The route was well lined with people who loved the float and adored the teddy bear. Two service users from Roots and Shoots joined the procession with staff from Hamelin Trust. Thank you to everyone who came along and put money in our buckets, we raised a fantastic £140.50!! Hamelin Trust hope to return to the Carnival next year!
