Full or part time Community Service Support workers – 22.5 – 37.5 hours per week
Hamelin Trust Community Support Service is evolving, and we need committed and experienced Support Workers as we look towards new and innovative ways to provide support to our clients with learning and/or multiple disabilities.
This role involves a combination of providing day support in and around our Adults Day Service in Billericay and helping both adults and children with assessed needs gain access to the wider community. This could be shopping, swimming, long bracing walks along the seafront or working at our local allotment!
You will need experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities (or similar transferable skills) and a commitment to helping these individuals reach their full potential.
You will be confident to lone or group work in the community and have a full current driving licence.
Alternate weekend working will be required – we aim to provide the rota at least a month in advance allowing you to plan your own time around the job!
