Senior Support Worker – full or part time – The Bungalow, Wickford

Situated in the residential area of Shotgate in Wickford, The Bungalow is a purpose built, CQC registered residential home that provides supported accommodation to five people with learning and multiple disabilities.

We require a full or part time senior support worker to join our friendly staff team.

Shift working (early shifts and late shifts of 7.5 hours) is on a rota basis including alternate weekends and covering 365 days a year.

Experience of working with complex and/or learning disabilities, preferably within a residential setting is essential, as is a caring nature and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities fulfil their potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience of staff management, ideally with a level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care.

A full driving licence and a willingness to drive Hamelin Trust vehicles is preferred, though not essential.

Full training, including the Care Certificate is provided free of charge as is the DBS check.
