Support Worker – Roots and Shoots, Rochford

Roots and Shoots is our horticultural project based at Sutton Bridge Farm in Rochford.  Set five and a half acres of grounds it provides our service users with learning disabilities an opportunity to learn skills in gardening, growing vegetables, garden maintenance and working as part of a team.

As a support worker, you will work alongside the Assistant Manager ensuring the smooth running of the project, supporting our service users in their work and ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times

The ideal applicant will ideally have experience of working with adults with learning and multiple disabilities and a keen interest or qualification in gardening or horticulture.

The role is part time, three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  A full driving licence is essential to this role.
