Support Workers – full & part time – Outreach/Community Support Service

We are recruiting full & part time support workers to join the excellent team in our Outreach/Community Support Service.  Based out of Billericay you will be supporting children and adults with learning disabilities and/or physical and sensory disabilities to attend college and clubs and engage in a range of community-based activities – like bowling, cinema, shopping, swimming as well as providing support in their homes.

Most of our support sessions are a minimum of few hours or could be a full day so flexible working to accommodate the needs of the service users will be required including alternate weekend working.  Support workers work a range of hours but rarely necessitating split shift working.

Whilst experience is preferred, full training is provided.  A caring nature and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities fulfil their potential is essential.

A full driving licence and a willingness to drive Hamelin Trust and client vehicles is essential.  Ideally you will also have access to your own vehicle for business purposes.
